1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Sayakat ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Sayakat is a free, AI-powered travel itinerary generator. Users fill out a form with travel preferences and receive a personalized travel program via email, including a downloadable PDF document and a time-limited HTML version.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

3. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to generate programs for illegal activities or destinations under travel sanctions in your jurisdiction.
  • Submit false, misleading, or automated requests (bots, scripts).
  • Attempt to overwhelm the Service with excessive requests (the rate limit of 2 generations per email per day applies).
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or exploit the Service, including forging signed document URLs.
  • Use the generated content for commercial resale without written permission.
  • Provide email addresses belonging to other people without their consent.

4. Rate Limiting

To ensure fair access for all users, the Service limits each email address to 2 travel program generations per day. This limit resets daily. We reserve the right to adjust this limit at any time without prior notice.

5. AI-Generated Content

Travel programs are generated entirely by an artificial intelligence model (GPT-4o-mini via OpenRouter). Important disclaimers:

  • Accuracy: AI-generated recommendations may contain errors, outdated information, or fictional establishments. Always verify details before traveling.
  • Prices: Budget estimates are approximate and may not reflect actual costs. They should not be relied upon for financial planning.
  • Availability: Mentioned hotels, restaurants, attractions, or transport options may be closed, fully booked, or discontinued.
  • Safety: The Service does not assess travel safety, visa requirements, health risks, or local regulations. Consult official government travel advisories before departure.
  • No professional advice: Generated content does not constitute professional travel agency services, legal advice, or financial advice.

6. Intellectual Property

  • The Sayakat name, logo, website design, and source code are the intellectual property of Sayakat and its developers.
  • Generated travel programs are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share them with travel companions but may not sell or redistribute them commercially.
  • You retain no ownership claim over AI-generated content.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Generated Document Access

  • PDF and HTML versions of your travel program are accessible via time-limited signed URLs that expire 14 days after generation.
  • After expiration, documents cannot be recovered. Download and save your program upon receipt.
  • Sharing document URLs with others grants them access until the link expires. You are responsible for URL sharing.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
  • Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of generated content.
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  • Compatibility with all devices or browsers.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sayakat and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:

  • Use of or inability to use the Service.
  • Reliance on AI-generated travel recommendations.
  • Any actions taken based on generated content (bookings, purchases, travel decisions).
  • Loss of generated documents after URL expiration.
  • Service interruptions, data loss, or unauthorized access.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sayakat and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time without notice or liability. This includes changing AI models, supported destinations, rate limits, or file retention periods.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, in the courts of the jurisdiction where the Service operators are based.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
